Living with IBS
Very few people know this about me, but I’ve been dealing with IBS my whole life. Over the years it’s been getting progressively worse to deal with but I finally found a way to manage it. I’ve had to make adjustments in my daily diet, use natural supplements and make changes in my daily patterns. Many people are dealing with IBS, even some of my clients. I will be giving more details and information on my website blog, in hopes of helping others who are living with it.
Everyday can be a challenge living with IBS. Bathroom time is the MOST important aspect. No matter how busy my day is, I’ll make sure I give myself enough time for it. Having a consistent daily routine is key. From waking up at the same time everyday, eating the same amount of calories and monitoring how much water I drink. I’ve also cut out red meat from my diet which has made a difference.
Supplements I use to help me and that I take everyday are probiotics, multivitamins, digestive enzymes, fibre smart, malva tea and zma.
My whole life I’ve had awful days dealing with stomach pain, bloating, feeling tired, anger, sadness and just fed up of living with IBS. Going on vacation is never easy, the days where I had photoshoots and competitions were always extremely stressful. Some days are better than others, but it’s the best I’ve been since I made the changes in my life.
